Chester Arthur Perry, one of Lincoln's formers most prominent executives, has lived in the state for the past forty-seven years and is recognized as a leader in civic and commercial affairs. He was born near Oak Harbor, Ohio, January 31, 1884, the son of Arthur Villars and Nancy Jane (Goodsite) Perry. He is president of the Nebraska Lumberman's Association, secretary of the Perry-McIntyre Lumber Company and the Perry-Sheets Lumber Company, and is president of the Moorish Tile and Supply Company. Mr. Perry was married at Lincoln, March 7, 1906, to Edna Amanda Clay. Mrs. Oerry, who is a descendant of the distinguished statesman Henry Clay, was born at Farmington, New Hampshire, September 16, 1884. (From NEBRASKANA, 1932)
