Miss Gusta Gartmann and mother accompanied by her sister, Mrs. Dierks and Mrs. Robert Gartmann and two nieces, drove to Niagara Caves near Harmony, Minnesota on Sunday, returning home Sunday evening.

Obituary
Augusta O. Gartmann of 808 Second street, Hudson, died Saturday morning,
March 20, at Hudson Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 3, 1898 in St. Joseph township, St. Croix County, thedaughter of Anton and Anna (Friend) Gartmann.
She was graduated from Hudson High School in 1916, and attended Rasmussen
Business college in Stillwater for a year after completing high school.
From 1917 until she retired in 1967, she was employed as a secretary for
the Omaha Railroad in Hudson.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic church and the Ladies Guild of
the church.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Theresa Dierks of 808 Second St.
Preceeding her in death were her parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Services were Tuesday, March 23, at St. Patrick's Catholic church. Inter-
ment was in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Hudson. Pallbearers were Lyle
Thompson, Dean Thompson, Art Hawkinson, Robert Gartmann, Anthony Gartmann and
Richard Gartmann.
