SEARLS-HANEY
Mr. William H. Searls and Miss May Haney, both popular young people of this
community, were united in marriage at the courthouse at 7 o'clock Tuesday
evening, November 4th, in the presence of the parents of the bride, the
ceremony being performed by Justice of the Peace D.J. Tierney.
The groom has been a resident of this locality for about 10 years, having been
engaged in the live stock industry during his residence here. He enjoys a very
extensive acquaitance among the people of Garfield county and numbers his
friends by the score.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Haney, of Hell creek, and has
resided with her parents in this community for about six years. She is a most
estimable and congenial young lady whose friends include all with whom she is
acquainted.
The newlyweds will make their home on Mr. Searl's ranch on Hell creek.

BURCHETT-SEARLS
Warner Burchett, prominent farmer of Butte Creek and Mrs. Nellie Searls of the
same community and a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Haney were united in
marriage at Jordan, Monday, March 19th in the presence of a few friends and
relatives.
The Rev. Jacob Maier, pastor of the Lutheran church officiated and Alfred E.
Haney, brother of the bride and Mrs. May Haney, acted as witnesses to the
ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Burchett will reside on the farm at Butte Creek.
