Leone Hope Russell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Russell of Rosebud, and
Harold Hawkinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hawkinson, also of Rosebud, were
married Saturday evening, January 1, at the Wesleyan Methodist parsonage with
the Rev. Lester Meyers officiating.
The bride wore a long gown of white lace with a fingertip veil and a corsage of
roses. Witnesses were Mrs. Lester Schull and Elmer Hawkinson, brother of the
groom.
The groom graduated from the Rosebud High School last spring and is engaged in
farming in the Rosebud vicinity where the couple will make their home.
Following the ceremony a dinner was held for the wedding party at the Elk Cafe.

Leone and Harold were divorced and in 1981 Leone had remarried (Leone Bice) and
was residing in Missoula, Montana.
