Ron went to college and graduated from Northern Montana College and then went
into the army. On May 24, 1971, Ronnie met Margaret Jean Ann Theresa Zabatta
(Peggy) at her birthday party in Seattle, Washington. Peggy was visiting a
friend in Seattle, where Ron was stationed. Peggy was born to Mario Joseph and
Ann Lega on May 24, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York, where she lived until the
seventh grade when she moved to Long Island. She grew up there and after
graduation she worked as a secreaty for Nuclear Engineers until she moved to
Hawaii. She went to the University of Hawaii and lived there for five years
until she went to Seattle and met Ron. They were married on May 6, 1972, in
the St. Sylvester's Church in New York. They had a big Italian wedding and now
live in Brusett where they farm and have five children: Jennifer Lee, Wendy
Jean, Renee Lynn, Joshua James and Rebecca Lucille.
