He is survived by one son, Robert Kastens, Deer Park; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Elvera) Sampson of St. Paul Park, Minn.; six grandchildren; one brother, Fred Kastens of Thompson, Ill.; and three sisters, Mrs. Lena Schwartz of New Ulm, Minn., Mrs. Ella Studtmann of New Richmond, and Mrs. Meta Wickelman of New Richmond.
