JOSEPH A. CASANOVA
Dr. Joseph A. Casanova of Glenwood Springs, Colo., was honored as a Fellow of
the American Andodontic Society at the organization's recent annual convocation
in the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C.
Casanova, who was born in Hudson, is the son of Raymond and Dorothy
Casanova, 483 Stageline Rd. His brother, Patrick, lives at 739 11th St. The
Casanova family has lived in Hudson for more than 100 years.
A graduate of Hudson High School, Casanova received a B.S. in chemistry
from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo., and earned his D.D.S. degree at
Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago in 1979. He is in the full
time practice of general denistry.
Casanova has been vice president and president of the Western Colorado
Dental Society. Active also in his community, he is a member of the Sunlight
Ski Patrol Service, in which he served as treasurer for three years, and is a
member of the Methodist Church. He and his wife, the former Leslie Cumming,
daughter of Dr. and Mrs. James Cumming, are the parents of two sons, James, 15,
and Adam, 11.
The American Endodontic Society is composed principally of dentists in
general practice who have a special interest in saving teeth through a
simplified method of root canal therapy... Each fellow is required to submit
x-ray evidence and histories of 25 successful cases of root canal therapy.
