Andrew Gray
(27 May 1836 - 12 Feb 1899)
The first sawmill was built by Andrew Gray in 1862, a water power, and in 1864 two buhrs were put in for the manufacture flour. In 1868 the mill was sold to the government (Carpenter 94)
