Sarah
(Bet 1685 and 1690 - Bet 18 Jun 1760 and May 1761)
Sarah Hauxford Willis Wood Hudson Turberville.
p.72 John HOXFORD, will: 31 Aug 1718, 5 Mar 1718/19 wife Elizabeth 50 ac.in Han. Par: ex: wife; wit: Henrt WOOD, Charles POWELL.
NOTE: (From Joanne Neilson about 1990) "Henry Wood is listed as witness to John Hoxford's will about the time that he was married to the 'much marrying' Sarah (Hoxford?) Willis, Wood, Hudson, Turberville. Not proof she was a Hoxford, but another link with him." (Olyve Abbott)
Yes it was probably about that time Sarah and Henry were married. Her husband - John Willis had died around the time John1 died - before or just after. Sarah, Henry Wood got around as did that epidemic. Sarah never stayed unmarried for long - she must have been quite a beauty or had lots of money -- haha. Do you know she married a Hudson - which if my memory has got this right - is the ancestor of Rush Limbaugh - so I think he may share our Sarah with him -- which would make him related to us - Yikes. Also the Bushs are related to the Bournes (Janet S)
