Known all men by these Presents, that I Charles Prouty of Spencer County of Worcester and Commonwealth of Massachusetts being of sound mind and memory but knowing the uncertainty of this life do this fourth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy seven make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say
First. That all my just debts and funeral shall be paid.
Second The ballance of all my personal property I give and bequeath to my wife Eunice, Also the use and income of one half of all my real estate during her natural life.
Third. I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Ann Hastings one half of all my real estate at my decease for her own the other half of all my real estate the same manner above the use given to my wife I give and bequeath at the decease of my wife Eunice to my daughter Mary Ann Hastings for her own.
And I do hereby constitute and appoint Thomas A Prouty sole Executor of this my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourth day of October AD 1877.
