Liberty ProutyKnow all men by these presents that I Liberty Prouty of Spencer in the County of Worcester and State of Massachusetts, being in a weak and declining state of health, do make, ordain and publish this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following:
First. I order all my just debts and funeral charges to be paid by my Executor hereafter to be named.
Second. Having Six children. viz Jonas Russell Prouty, Joel Eli Pouty, Augustus Brisco Prouty, Mary Eliza Prouty, Henry Waldo Prouty and Emily Augusta Prouty, I give them nothing in this will.
Third. And as to th remainder of my Estate of every description whether Real or Personal, I hereby give, bequeath and devise the same to my beloved wife Emily Prouty for her free use and disposal, to her the said Emily Prouty her heirs and assigns forever, and I here by nominate and appoint my said wife sole Executor of this my last will and testament.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty three. Liberty Prouty
