Milton was born in the town of Cool and was employed from 1907 to 1910 as a brakeman with Southern Pacific Railroad Company. On January 18, 1914, he married Miss Georgia Glover, and they were the parents of two children. In June 1917 the family moved to Roseville where Milton again took up railroading. He became ill while on his run and died at the railroad hospital several days later. He was survived by his widow, his daughters Katherine and Mable, his parents, his brother Leslie, and his sister Clara.Endnotes
