Rosetta "Rose" DeWitt
(1868 - Mar 1926)
Rosetta married Elmer Bennett. He was a preacher, they lived in Iowa and Indiana. She died in March 1926 and is buried in Lierly cemetery, Elmer died 1928 and is also at Lierly cemetery.
Rev. Elmer Bennett, who lives in Cynthiana, Indiana, where he has a pastorate, brought the remains of his wife to Timewell Thursday and the funeral was held in the Christian church by Rev. W. A. Taylor, of Bowen and burial was made in the family cemeytery south of Kellerville. Mrs. Bennett was Miss etta DeWitt and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William DeWitt. She leaves two sons, Ray Bennett and Robert Bennett, and besides her husband, many relatives in the community.
