Wedding Unites Two Well Known Covelo Families
COVELO, Jan. 21. -- A wedding of much interest to all of Round Valley, occurred in Santa Rosa last week, when Miss Pauline English became Mrs. Everett Goforth. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride’s brother, Byron English, and wife in Santa Rosa, and was witnessed, among others by the bride’s mother and brother, Mrs. Lew English and Charles English of Covelo. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lew English of Covelo, is a graduate of the local high school and has lived here all of her life. She is one of our most charming young ladies, with that rare personality that has a smile for everyone, and whom everyone claims as a friend. The groom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Goforth, has also lived here all of his life and is a graduate of the Round Valley High School. Hie is a young man of good habits and sterling qualities, honest, reliable and ready go give cheerful greetings or helping hand to young and old alike. All Covelo congratulates these young people and wishes them all the years of happiness they so richly deserve.
In Covelo we are missing them, for they are making their home in Ukiah, because Mr. Goforth is employed at the State Hospital at Talmage.
