John Jones is living next door to Merry Webb and living with John in both 1830 & 1840 is an elderly woman some 20 years older than his wife. Norman Warnell told Winnie Whitaker he found in Edmonson Co (She thinks it was in the old equity files) where John Jones was paid by the county for the yearly care of a Mrs. Webb, so Winnie thinks the older woman could be Mary Garrison Webb living with Eleanor and John. She was the same age as Merry who was next door. They lived next to each other in 1830 but by 1840 one or the other had moved. She believes Merry left Mary Garrison and married Mary Davis.
