Paul Henderson Coker
(17 Feb 1916 - 12 Apr 1992)
I have a little info to add about the battle of Champion Hill. (Civil War) You see Champion Hill was on the Coker family farm just out of Edwards. It is now a federal park. A monument was placed there to honor the Gen. Tilghman who fought and died there for the South. I even have the original paper form when it was dedicated so long ago. I found there that My familes had fought against each other on that hill.
