Individual Details
Beke Margarethe Heiken
(16 Mar 1808 - )
Beeke Margarethe Heiken married John Henry Stassen and they immigrated to Illinois with their six sons from East Friesland in the 1850's. Some of their Heiken cousins followed them. One of Beeke's sons ( Bernard Stassen) is my wife's great grandfather. He and his wife later moved to St Paul, MN and founded quite a dynasty. (Bruce Struckman)
Beke Margarethe married a "constructor" name Staschen. "They had six very clever boys, and lived in Schoost behind the farm Anneliese now owns. All became Quakers, had their church in their house and all emigrated to the States." (Don Heiken)
