SERVICES HELD THERE LAST FRIDAY, FEB. 29
WYOMING...Services were held Friday, Feb. 29, for George Hinrichs, 73, who passed away at his home Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 10:30 a.m. following a lingering illness. Services were held from the Lutheran church in Wyoming with the Rev. Herbert Graenig in charge. Burial was made at the Wyoming cemetery.
Born on July 26, 1878, in Ostfriesland, Germany, he was the son of John and Katherine Hinrichs. On March 8, 1906 he was married to Emma Schrader, and they made their home in the Wyoming vicinity. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Zion Lutheran church.
Surviving are his wife, Emma; two sons, John of Onslow and George Jr., of Central City; three daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Katie) Moore, Hale, Mrs. Eddie (Martha) Peterick of Mount Vernon and Mrs. Melvin (Betty) Husman of Langworthy; and twenty grandchildren. also surviving are one brother, Reimer of Grantsburg, Wis.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Albert (Mable) Hinrichsen.
Pallbearers included Louie Jensen, Harry Moore, Henry Derga, Ben Paulsen, Roy Walters, and Clarence Huston.
