(Sep 24, 1891)Mr. John Peter Frerichs, a German 75 years of age who lived in this township near the Holcomb place on the banks of the Maquoketa river, died on the 22nd inst. He was buried in the Lutheran cemetery, in this township, yesterday. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Von Strohe and Rev. Brust. The deceased was born in Hanover. His widow who is seven years his senior and who has been a cripple for 15 years survives him.

John P. Frerichs died in Lovell township on the 22nd of the month, at the age of 75 years.
