BROOKLINE, Mass. (UPI) Memorial services will be held Thursday for Mrs. Olive Prouty, author of “Stella Dallas,” whose radio serialization was followed by millions each afternoon. The 92-year-old native of Worcester died Sunday at her colonial home, “Wishington.” “Stella Dallas” was made into a movie and later was serialized on CBS radio, becoming one of the top soap operas. A movie also was based on her novel "Now' Voyager,”
