Death
Mary R. Eiler Palmer, 102 of Linn Manor Care Center in Marion, died Dec 8, 1997 following a short illness.Service were held at Murdoch Funeral Home in Marion. Private family committal held at Oakwood Cemetery in Monticello.
Surviving are a daughter Betty Hall and husband Bill of Central City, a daughter in law, Helen Eiler of Coggon, two step daughters, Mary Ann Beckner and husband Dewayne of Marion and Margaret Pollock and husband Dick of CA. Eight grand children, 12 Great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, a son Henry "Bud" Eiler, a daughter Ruth Pratt, two brothers, three sisters and a stepson, Martin Palmer.
She was a member of the Central City United Methodist Church.
