"In the name of God, Amen. I, Ebenezer Willson, of the County of Loudoun &State of Virginia, being weak in body but of a sound memory (Blessed be God)
do this first day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and three make and publish this my last Will & Testament in the
manner Following:
1st‹ I give and bequeath unto my loving wife, Hannah Willson, all and every
part of my Real & personal estate as long as she shall remain my Widow.
2nd‹At my wife's death or marriage, I give and bequeath unto my eldest son,
Thomas Willson, one dollar paid to him by my Executrix.
3rd‹I give & bequeath unto my other ten children after my wife's death or
marriage; viz: Sarah Philips, John Willson, Margaret Green, Mary Philips,
Jane Wilson, Elizabeth Fierce, Nancy Willson, Samuel Willson, Asa Willson,
Hannah Willson. Jun'r, all the remainder of my Real or personal estate to be
Equally divided among them or the survivors of them. & Lastly I make my wife
Hannah Willson, my Executrix of this one last Will & Testament to take care
& see the same performed according to my true intent and meaning. In
witness, I, the said Ebenezer Willson, have to this my last Will & testament
set my hand & seal the day & year above written.

At a further consideration of the written & knowing how dear child is to a
parent, I agree to leave it in the breast of my wife and Executrix if she
see it proper, make my son Thomas Willson an equal share with the Rest of my
children. This being agreed to by me before sidned the date written

At a Court held for Loudoun County September 11th 1807, This Will and
Codicil endorsed were proved by the Oaths of William Yoe and Edward Cunnard,
Jun. and affirmation of Edward Cunnard, Sen. and ordered to be recorded and
on the motion of Hannah Willson, the Executrix, therein named who made oath
according to Law, and together with Stephen Wilson & Peter Giddey her
securities entered into and acknowledged their bond is the penalty of Six
thousand dollars conditined as the Law directs Certificate is granded her
for obtaining a probate thereof in due form.
This Indenture made this sixth day of December in the year of our Lord between Peter Philips, Sarah his wife, Conrad Farst & Betsy his wife, John Cline and Jane his wife, & Nicholas Philips and Polly his wife of Athens County, State of Ohio, of the one part and & Amos Harvey of Loudoun County, State of Virginia, of the other part. Whereas Ebeneazar Wilson, late of the said county of Loudoun & Staye of Virginia dec¹d was during his lifetime seized & possessed of certain lands & tenements & also of sundry goods, chattels, situate lying and being in the said County of Loudon & State aforesaid.
Whereas in virtue of the last will & testament of the said Ebenezer Wilson of record in the office of the court of the said County of Loudoun the said Sarah, Betsy, Jane, & Polly are each entitled to a share of the estate whereof the said Ebenezer Wilson died seized & possessed as well more fully and at large appear by reference to the said last will & testament.
Now this Indenture Wittnesseth that the said Peter Philips & Sarah his wife, Conrad Farst and Betsy, his wife, John Cline & Jane his wife, Nicholas Philips & Polly his wife for and in consideraton of the sum of fourteen hundred Dollars lawful money to them in hand paid by the said Amos Harvey at or before the sealing and Delivery of these presents the recepit whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted bargained and sold, aliened, released, enfeoffed & confirmed; and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release & confirm unto him, the said Amos Harvey, and his heirs and assigns, forever all the rights, titles, claims, interest & demands whatsoever of the the said Peter Philips & Sarah his wife, Conrad Farst and Betsy his wife, John Cline and Jane his wife, & Nicholas Philips and Polly his wife & their heirs executors and administrators into or out of the said estate and of every part and parcel thereof, whereof the said Ebenezer Wilson dec. seized, & possessed as aforesaid. To have and to hold the said several shares of the said Peter Philips & Sarah his wife, Conrad Furst & Betsy his wife, John Cline & Jane his wife, Nicholas Philips & Polly his wife in to and out of the said estate real & personal whereof the said Ebenezer Wilson, dec¹d, died seized & possessed therein before granted unto him the said Amos Harvey and his heirs and assigns forever together with all the rights, titles advantages, privileges, hereditaments & appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining & to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Amos Harvey and his heirs & assigns forever. And the said Peter Philips & Sarah his wife, Conrad Farst and Betsey his wife, John Cline and Jane his wife, Nicholas Philips & Polly his wife, for themselves, their heirs, executors & administrators do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Amos Harvey and his heirs and assigns forever that they will warrant & forever defend the titles to their said several shares of the said estate whether the same shall be real, personal, or mixed, against the claim or claims of them, the said Peter & Sarah, Conrad & Betsey, John & Jane, Nicholas & Polly, and their heirs, executors and administrators & against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever. In Witness whereof the said Peter Philips & Sarah his wife, Conrad Farst & Betsey his wife, John Cline & Jane his wife, Nicholas Philips & Polly his wife have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals the day and year first above written. Athens County & Athens Township, December 26th 1816.
Before us the subscribers two of the justices of the peace in & for the county aforesaid personally came Peter Philips, Sarah his wife, Conrad Farst and Betsey his wife, John Cline and Jane his wife, Nicholas Philips and Polly, his wife and acknowledged the above and foregoing instrument to be their free act and deed and the said Saray, Betsey, Jane & Polly, being examined separate and apart from their husbands, declare that they signed the same voluntarily and without the persuasions or threats of their said husband and that they are willing the same should be recorded.
