Marriage
Miss Rena Schoon, the daughter of Mrs. Mary Schoon of Amber, and Mr. John Folkers, the son of Mr. Harm Folkers of Wayne township, were married at 11 o'clock today, at the residence of the bride's mother, by Rev. C. Mardorf. The young couple were congratulated by a large company of guests. They expect to live on the Marshall Davis farm in Wayne township, which was recently purchased by the groom's father.(Monticello Express February 12, 1903)
