Mr. and Mrs. Alva Stadtmueller are the parents of a baby daughter born at the John McDonald hospital last Thursday, December 22. Mrs. Stadtmueller was Miss Fannie Eiben before her marriage. This is the first grandchild of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Stadtmueller. The young lady has been named Rose Joan.

CASTLE GROVE - The funeral of Mrs. Donald (Rose Joanne) Kumpf, 43, Minonk, Ill., was held Sept. 11 in Immanual Lutheran
church, Minonk, where her husband is the pastor. Burial was in Prairie Hill cemetery, Castle Grove township, Monday morning,
Sept. 13. Mrs. Kumpf died Sept. 8 at her home after a long illness. She was born Dec. 22, 1932, daughter of Alva and Fannie Eiben Stadtmueller.
Her mother died when she was 2 years old and she was reared by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Stadtmueller.
After graduating from college, she taught school.
She was married to Rev. Donald Kumpf Aug. 11, 1957. They lived in Daykin, Nebr.; Hartsburg, 111., and Marion, Ind. before moving to Minonk.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Eric; 2 daughters, Rebecca and Suzanne; her stepmother, Mrs. Alva Stadtmueller, Monticello; a step-sister, Mrs. Ludolph Lechner, Mineola, and a step-brother, Dale Mardorf.
