John Augustus Fraser

On January 4, (1854) Hon Fraser (the father of John Augustus) died, leaving most of his remaining property to his daughter, Clara Isabella Fraser. His son, John Augustus Fraser had moved with his wife, Mary Lenoir, to Sumpter, SC .John Augustus died in 1858 and his young son, John Augustus Fraser was taken to Texas as a child by his mother and a stepfather.
George Alfred Trenholm was a member of the firm of John Fraser & Co from January 1, 1835 and on June 30, 1836 John Fraser gave his son, John Augustus Fraser and George Alfred Trenholm the power of attorney to handle business affairs for him. In 1838 Trenholme was a copartner of John Fraser and they traded under the firm of John Fraser & Co.
