Henry Edward Cook was born December 10, 1923, in Hastings, Oklahoma to Harvey Alec and Edith L. Hughes Cook. He married Dorothy Ruth Brown on November 28, 1942, in Walters, Oklahoma.
Henry Graduated from Temple High School, and he served in the 78th Infantry Division in World War II from March 3, 1943 until Jan 22, l946. He was employed as a machinist after being discharged, and soon started his own business, Cook Motor Machine and Supply, in Duncan. He continued the business which is now known as Cook Manufacturing Corporation. He retired in l985. In the summer of 2000, Henry and Dorothy cook moved to West Wind Retirement Center in Marlow, Oklahoma.
Henry Edward Cook, 77, formerly of Duncan, died at Marlow, Oklahoma on Monday, October 22, 2001.
