Death
Carl H. Peters Dies Yesterday MorningThe death of Carl Henry Peters occurred at the state hospital at Independence, yesterday morning at 1:20 a.m. He had been ill for some time. Funeral services will be held from the Goettsch funeral home to St. Matthew's Lutheran church, Friday, June 28, at 2 p.m Rev. H. L. Adix will officiate. Burial will be made at Oakwood cemetery.
Mr. Peters was born September 26, 1923, at Monticello. Before his illness he was engaged in farming. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H Peters, who survive, together with a sister, Marv, and a brother Marvin, and his grandfather, John H. Peters. He was a member St. Matthew's church.
Pallbearers at the funeral Friday will be William Wolken, Carl Wolken, Fred Butschi, Vernon Burrack, Richard Mardorf, and Robert Wahl.
