Police Seek Girl, 17, Missing at Manchester
Police are aiding in an extensive search for Reva Heiken, 17, a Manchester high school student, who disappeared from her home Saturday afternoon. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Heiken living one mile southwest of Manchester, and a relative of the Heiken families living in and near Monticello.
No motive for her disappearance is given by her family. Friends stated that she had said she planned on visiting relatives in Chicago soon, but the report could not be verified from relatives in a awire Monday. Miss Heiken walked to town Saturday afternoon and planned to meet her mother and sisters there, but when they arrived, she could not be found. Two witnesses living one half mile from Reva's home declared they had seen her walking home late Saturday afternoon.
Later: Mr. and Mrs. Heiken received a letter from their missing daughter, Reva, Wednesday. She stated she was working in a restaurant in Chicago, Illinois.
