Nicholas Du puy (Du Puis)

(1625 - Aft 13 Oct 1685)

Nicholas Du Pui, from Artois, France, and wife and three children, were on the ship "Pemberton Church" in Oct. 1662. They settled on the site of the Produce Exchange in New York City. A patent granted by the Dutch government of New York dated 19th March 1663 was for a plantation on Staten Island to Nicholas De Puis.
