Andrew Hawkins

(16 Jul 1771 - 12 Oct 1858)

The History of Anderson County, KY (McKee and Bond); some material of interest, much of what involves the ownership of the Old Joe distillery, which passed into and out of the hands of the line descended from Ben1 through Ben2, through Andrew then Sheridan Bond Hawkins. That side of the family apparently had the business off and on until Prohibition put an end to it.

Andrew and Nancy Hawkins had at least three children: daughter Marion, b. 1823 and sons Benjamin, b. 1826 and Price, b. 1829. (Scott Foster scttfoster@aol.com)
