Columbus Moore Jones

Columbus Moore Jones and his son, Henry Columbus farmed together on the family land - a 53-acre farm on the Rock Dam Road, which was later expanded with the purchase of other Brazos River bottom land. They both took great pride in their agricultural pursuits, winning blue ribbons and trophies whenever they were entered in fairs. The descendants of Columbus Moore Jones have lived in Marlin, Falls County, Texas since he made his home there - now almost 120 years.
