There seems to be two Angeline DeWitt's, as one is married to James Hawkins in 1850 in the Hardin Co KY census, and the other, age 30, is still with her parents, Price and Sarah DeWitt in the Indiana 1850 census. I had previously thought that they were the same. More work is needed......

Birth

At her marriage, she was said to be 21, if so, her birth year should be 1825.
The Hardin Co. Census has her at 30 in 1850, this would make her birth year 1819 or 1820.

Marriage

Hawkins, James M. married Angeline DeWitt 2-4-1846; A John DeWitt stated
that Angeline was age 21.
Their marriage is recorded in MARRIAGE BOOK "B" 1408, Hardin Co. Courthouse.

Know all men by these present that we James M Hawkins and John Dewitt are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky ...sum of 50 United States Currency for which payment wel and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves ....seals & dates this 3rd day of February 1846.
The condition of the above obligation is such that if there should be no legal cause to obstruct a marriage shortly to be solemized between the above bound James M Hawkins and Angelina Dewitt ....
