John Mighill

John Mighill Jun. sold his ten-acre share of Killingly land on Dec 19, 1721. By 2 Dec 1722 he was living in Brimfield as he signed a petition concerning the layout of the lands there on that date. In Sept 1730 his name was among those reported as receiving a fifty acre lot by the Brimfield land grant committee. John Mighill of Brimfield, Miller, quitclaimed for £300 to his brother Thomas of Killingly, husbandman, any rights he held in the 120 acre farm in Killingly on 3 Dec 1750, which was "originally of my Honored Father John Mighill of Killingly deceased." On 12 Sept 1757 John was assigned the "fore seat below" the pulpit of the Brimfield meeting house.
