Military
LaVern Eiler, AOM 1/c, WritesThe editor of the Express received a letter this week from LaVern Eilers, aviation ordnance man first class, who is serving in the South Pacific. After receiving the new rating of AOM 1/c recently, Eilers was given a crew of eight men and a squadron of planes to work on and keep in shape.
He has been overseas over two years and writes that he gets pretty lonesome for his friends back home. The Express which he gets regularly, although a little late, sometimes is one of his chief sources of enjoyments, he writes. He would appreciate mail from his friends. His address may be obtained at this office.
