Castle Grove. Albert Iben had a cow killed by lightning last Wednesday night.

G. J. Heiken was summoned to Langworthy last Saturday, on account of the serious illness of his brother-in-law, Mr. Albert Iben. Mr. Heiken assisted in removing the sick man to the Anamosa sanitarium on Sunday. Mr. Iben was formerly a resident of Castle grove and his friends here are hoping to hear of his speedy recovery.

I.A. Heiken and G. J. Heiken, visited with Albert Iben at the Sanitarium in Anamosa, last Sunday. They report Mr. Iben as being very weak.

Albert Iben of Wayne township was operated on for appendicitis at the Anamosa sanitarium last Thursday, and is said to be showing signs of recovery.
