Mrs. Chris Eiben was pleasantly surprised Sunday evening, when a group of out-of-town friends came to her home to help her celebrate her birthday anniversary. The evening was spent informally, after which refreshments were served. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Hayo Schoon and son Richard. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Reuter. and Mr and Mrs. George Schoon. all of Amber, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cords of Elkader, and Mr. and Mrs. John T. Gerdes of this city.
