Death
ELLEN WARNER EIBENONSLOW--Mrs. J. Henry Eiben died Mar. 15 at John McDonald hospital. Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. from Goettsch Funeral home in Monticello with the Rev. Marion Horton of the Onslow Presbyterian church in charge. Burial was at Oakwood cemetery.
Born Oct. 15, 1893 at Hopkinton, she was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Warner of near Monticello. She attended the Jones county schools and the Methodist church in Hopkinton. She lived in the Hopkinton area until her marriage to J. Henry Eiben Oct. 25, 1917. They farmed in Jones county.
Surviving are her husband; five sons, John and Clarence of Center Jct.; Arthur of Onslow, Harold of Monticello and Paul of Cascade; two daughters, Mrs. George (Betty) Redmond of Monticello and Mrs. James (Marian) Blount of Anamosa; two sisters, Mrs. Stanley (Eva) Bright of Anamosa and Mrs. Carl (Louise) Rutz of Rochester, Minn; and 17 grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by a son in 1922.
