Herman Hinrich Hinrichs

They migrated to Woodford County, Illinois after they were married in "Hanover".
I believe his wife's name was Wubke Margarethe geb Heien or Heiem or Heirm from local church records in Woodford County, IL at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Pretty close to your Heyen.
Information from the 1870 census records that indicates Herman's wife's name was Wilhema and that they had 4 children, two boys in Hanover and a boy & a girl here. John born in Hanover abt 1855 d 1862 in IL, and Henry b in Hanover abt 1859 died in IL in 1870 about the same time as his father.
I've seen these gravestones and her name is not readable but it starts with a W. She died in childbirth or as the result, and the baby died too in 1868. I went to the church yesterday and have some old records that list them but they are in German and no one there could read them. I'm guessing they are baptism and burial records.
My husband's gg grandmother was married to Herman after Wubke passed away. Herman died within that first year of marriage.
He seems to have died in 1870 in a farming accident as a 12 year old son died about the same. I have no proof of this, just a supposition. Could've been a flu epidemic too. I'm working on it.
This isn't really my husband's family, as I said, but it's been a curious story. Gebke Gerdes, Herman's second wife, had an illegitimate child in Pogum. She & baby came to USA with baby, parents & two sisters. Married widower Herman, but did not raise the baby. Had one child with Herman before he died, married again and raised Herman's living children and had 7 more children who are the direct blood relatives of my husband's.
