Johann "John" Heyen

(22 Feb 1865 - 22 Apr 1953)

John owned a grocery and dry goods store in Langworthy, Iowa when Ramona knew them. They lived above the store which was built shortly after the town of Langworthy was laid out in 1858. Peter Banowetz erected the front part of the building and John had the back part built years later. According to a Cedar Rapids Gazette article written in August 23, 1981 John bought the building in 1888.
