Death

JAENISCH SR., EDWARD BIRCH, 77, of Louisville, passed away Monday, September 12, 2005, at Norton Suburban Hospital. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and a member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, the former Dorothy Heitzman Jaenisch; four children, Edward Birch Jaenisch Jr. (Harriett) of Grosse Pointe, MI, David Allen Jaenisch of New York, NY, Barbara Ellen Jaenisch of Louisville, Ann Jaenisch Kottak (Tim) of Milwaukee, WI; four grandchildren, Christina and Tony Jaenisch, Benjamin and Jane Kottak; and several nieces and nephews. His memorial Mass will be celebrated at noon Thursday, St. Martin of Tours, 639 S. Shelby Street. There will be no visitation and the burial will be private. Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road was entrusted with arrangements. Memorial gifts in memory of Mr. Jaenisch may be made to Mass of the Air 508 Breckenridge Lane Louisville, Ky. 40207 or to the donor's favorite charity.
