Death
Services 2 P.M. Today for Mrs. Raymond PluegerCENTER JUNCTION — Ora Mae Andrews Plueger, 32, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ora Andrews, died Monday at 12:30 p.m. at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a sudden illness.
Services will be held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. from the Center Junction Presbyterian church with Rev. Charles Hendricks officiating. Burial will he in the North Madison cemetery. The body will be transferred Thursday morning from the Wallace Funeral home chapel in Wyoming to the church and may be seen after 10 a.m.
Besides her husband, Raymond, and parents, she is survived by four children: Janice Rae, Gene Raymond, Mary Ann, and Joleen; a brother, Glenn Andrews, Center Junction; two sisters, Ruth Rieken, Scotch Grove, and Dolores Townsend, Lombard, Ill.; and a grandfather, Charles Soper, Springville.
Mrs. Plueger spent most of her life in the Center Junction community, being born south of Amber, on July 13, 1923.
She was graduated from the Center Junction high school as valedictorian her class, and on August 2, 1940,married Raymond Plueger. A member of the Center Junction Presbyterian church, she was also active in Women's guild, 4-H work for four years, and served as assistant Den mother and Jater Den mother, of the local Cub Scout pack.
