Aaron Munroe m. Lydia Munroe, a widow of Woburn, originally Campbell, and lived several years in this town (Shrewsbury), on the place ow of Eber Maynard. They had no children. They removed to Fitchburg or vicinity, where it is said he died. His widow returned and died here, Feb. 1846. Her daughter, Elizabeth Wilson Munroe, married Jason Prouty, Feb. 12, 1812, and went to Lancaster (Ward, 375).
