Ernest Wahl, who is engaged in farming in Lovell township, was knocked down and severely bruised by a Holstein bull, on his farm last Friday morning. The animal was in a feed lot in front of the barn when it charged Mr. Wahl. The bull bunted him several times in the chest and trampled his body. Wahl had a pitchfork in his hand which he thrust through the bull's nose. This, however, did not stop the animal. Wahl called to his wife who, together with the hired man succeeded In driving the bull away. The hired man led him into the barn with a nose ring.
