THE MONTICELLO …….JUNE 27, 1957……..PAGE 5SERVICES TODAY FOR MRS. J. FECHTMANN
Mrs. John Fechtmann, a life-long resident of Wayne township, died Monday evening at the John McDonald hospital after a long illness. Funeral service will be held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at the Wayne Zion Lutheran church with Rev. F.H. Kehren officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Fechtmann, the former Lena Christina Brokens, was born Dec. 9, 1891, the daughter of John and Mina Saathoff Brokens. She was married on Dec. 10, 1919 to John Fechtmann. She was a member of the Wayne Lutheran church.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Harvey J., and one sister, Mrs. Etta Stadtmueller.
One sister preceded her in death.
