Death
Dorothy J. (Mosser) Horstmann, age 71, resident of Brainerd, MN, died Saturday, September 1, 2007, at her home with family at her side.Dorothy was born March 16, 1936, in Oberon, ND to Lawrence and Lena (Tandeski) Mosser. She was a longtime resident of the Brainerd area. She was an avid bowler, gardener, and loved being with her family. She was a wonderful mother, devoted grandmother and caring friend.
She leaves to carry on her memory, three daughters, Erica Horstmann, Mary Barlow, Cindy Barlow; three sons, Robert Barlow, Mark Barlow and Jeff Barlow; seven grandchildren, Tammy, Bobbie Jo, Brandy Jo. Shane, Travis, Tony, Hunter and Ethan; six great-grandchildren, one brother, Frank Mosser; two sisters, Ann Slater and Shirley Wahl; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her husband Thomas and her parents.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, September 7 at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with Deacon Roger Marks officiating. Family and friends can gather one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Stony Lake Cemetery in Minnewaukan, ND. Arrangements are with Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd.
