John D. Struble

(19 Oct 1792 - 21 May 1875)

John was born in Sussex County, New Jersey, the youngest son of Daniel & Mary (Couse) Struble. He married Mary Stoll on April 18, 1814. Together they had three children: Mary (Winterbottom), Henry, & Jane (Roberts). He was widowed on December 11, 1821. The next year he married Mary Headley, the daughter of William & Sarah (Strait) Headley. Together they raised nine children (a daughter and 8 sons): Rebecca (Potter), Hiram, Daniel, William, John, Charles, Oscar, David, & Edwin. They migrated to Knox County, Ohio in 1832, where they remained for the rest of their lives.
