According to the Registry of Deeds, Kennebec County, Augusta, Maine in 1840 they resided in Dearborn, Maine when Arthur and Nathaniel Mosher, also of Dearborn, bought land (January 17, 1840, Vol. 121, p. 63). In 1861 Oliver bought land in Belgrade, Maine (December 6, 1861 recorded June 8, 1868, Vol. 268, p. 117). In 1861 as "trader" in Readfield, Maine, he bought land there on December 19, 1867 (recorded 8 June 1868 in Vol. 268, p. 119). On November 30, 1870 he bought land in Readfield, Maine (recorded 28 November 1873).
