Henry Blair

(Bef 1765 - Abt 1813)

In 1795, Henry Blair appeared on the Green County Tax List. He was the only Blair listed in what is not South-Central Kentucky. By 1798, Henry is in Warren County, but by 1800 he is back in Green County and appears on the tax list for this county until 1809, when he moved to the Forks section of what later became Edmonson County, but at the time, Hardin County. Henry Blair lived in Hardin County until 1813 when he apparently died. The following year, his widow, Elizabeth, was taxed for the same number of horses that Henry was taxed for the year before. Elizabeth appears for the last time on the 1827 tax list of Edmonson County, living next to her sons William, Isaac, and Henry Blair. She apparently died after this, as no other records have been found of her. Children of Henry Blair (bn before 1765--d ca 1813) (I) John Bailey Blair, Sr. (1787--18??) (II) Mary "Polly" m John D.
