Milwaukee Employee
Kammerman is a retired employee of tho C. M, St. P. and P. Railroad, for whom he worked for 32 years and is now on pension from that company. He worked for many years with John Wenger as his foreman and the late. E. J. Drury as road master. He enjoyed his work and was always counted a faithful and conscientious employee, working with a group of men who maintained the roadway in this section.
The Milwaukee railroad has always taken great pride in its longtime employees. This is the reason it maintains a pension system to care for these men after they have reached an age when they cannot continue heavy work.
