Carter Harrison is listed as a chain carrier on the first survey we find for Martin Webb along with Martin Webb Jr. Sarah has children Martin, James, Matthew, Thomas, Gambril Harrison and a daughter Mary. I am unsure of how many more children we will find. Sarah and Carter seemed to move back and forth between Tn and Ky for a dozen years before eventually going back to Tn where Carter apparently died just before 1830. Sarah then took her family to Ripley Co., Mo with her Webb cousins. (Winnie)

Carter Harrison and his wife Sarah Webb left KY around 1826/7 moved to Bartholomew IN.
1830 Census Carter Harrison is 70-80 birth about 1750/60 and we know Sarah Webb Harrison birth was about 1777 in North Carolina per the Ripley County Missouri Census.
1840 Bartholomew County IN Carter Harrison is 80-90 with his family.
We know that Carter Harrison was a chain carrier for his father-n-law and also for his wife's 1st cousins .. note Warren County TN Merry Webb (#5 born abt 1778 died 1865 Blount County TN) . Because of his occupation they moved a lot. Some children were born in Tn and other's KY.
Also note in 1850 Ripley County Missouri Sarah Webb Harrison is there with some of her children,living next door to many people from Edmonson County KY... also she has 1st cousins once removed living near... That were from Marion County TN. (Deenie Sparks Email: lazyk@centurytel.net)
